Good News and Bad News
I didn’t manage to get out to do any exercise yesterday, spending the entire day in my jammies in front of the TV and writing.
Today has been a bit of a mixed day. I got up at a sort of half decent time, had a fairly healthy breakfast of toast and an apple for a snack, then headed down to the gym at lunchtime. I spent 30 minutes on the exercise bike, 20 minutes on the cross-trainer, swam a few lengths of the pool and then chilled out in the jacuzzi for a little while.
Lunch was a nice healthy turkey sandwich, so all seemed to be going well. I stocked up on vegetables and lean cuts of meat for dinners over the next week or so.
After lunch, I tucked into a piece of leftover Christmas cake. Naughty.
And for dinner, we’ve bought a crispy duck.
The morning was a good start, but I’m afraid my willpower may have slipped just a little…
Ah well, tomorrow is another day! And at least I’ve made a start!
I hope everyone else’s resolutions are working out better than mine have so far.
