As you might have noticed, I’m very fond of the notion of “tomorrow’s another day”. So, after my spectacular fall from weight-loss grace earlier this week, I have picked myself up, dusted myself down and started over with a clean slate.

I’ve had a relatively healthy day today, with healthy high-fibre cereal for breakfast and lunch and dried cherries as a snack. I even took myself off to the gym by myself this afternoon – I usually feel a bit too self-conscious to work out alone, preferring my boyfriend to be with me. I don’t know why, we work out in different parts of the gym and barely even see each other, but it just makes me feel better.

Anyway, I spent 30 minutes on the cross-trainer doing the total-body workout. In theory, this should work out all my flabby bits, toning them all up and burning the fat as I go. It wasn’t the most epic work out ever, but it’s a start!

Here’s to actually managing to sustain this for a little bit longer than I did last time.
