Working Weight Loss

Published by Sarah at 10:00 pm under Weight Loss Tips Edit This

I started my new job today, working as a receptionist in a hospital IT Department.

My boyfriend enquired whether I thought I’d be able to keep up the good work I’d put in recently with my weight loss with such a big change to my routine.

When I thought about it, I realised that it could actually be a lot easier to lose weight while working. That’s exactly the situation I was in the last time I lost weight, and I managed to be very successful with that.

All it takes to stick to a healthy eating regime is a little forward planning. For instance, by preparing lunches ahead of time, even just having the ingredients to make a tasty sandwich at lunchtime (I can’t bear sandwiches made ahead of time), can make all the difference. If you aren’t able to take a packed lunch, then remembering to make healthy choices - no spread or low-fat spread, lean meats, etc - when buying from a sandwich shop or checking pre-packed lunches have fewer than 400 calories and are low in saturated fat can all help to maintain steady weight-loss.

Planning ahead can ensure your weight loss success at work!
